1- Norton Internet Security: Clean. 
2- avast! Pro Antivirus: Clean.
3- Kaspersky Antivirus: Clean. 
4- Avira identifies Avira9_Trial_Reset_v2.2A.exe as a threat (TR/Virtl.132):
   - Risk name: TR/Drop.MSIL.Agen.F     
   - Risk type: Trojan
 

The av scan result of Avira is a false positive due to some used 
binaries and cryptors (or maybe it's added to Avira's virus database).
So just stay cool or don't use this!!!


Also scanned with most well known antispyware. Reported malware detected 
by other anti-malware apps probably are false positives!

Avira9_Trial_Reset_v2.2A can be used to reset the Avira 9 trial license 
registration data so that a new 30 days trial license can be acquired.


Avira9_Trial_Reset_v2.2A (filesize = 499 kB) is for the trial versions of:

- Avira AntiVir Premium 9 
- Avira Premium Security Suite 9 

* Tested on WinXP (x86), Vista (x86/x64), Win7 (x86/x64). 
* Avira9_Trial_Reset_v2.2A doesn't work on Avira 9 "demo versions".
* Avira9_Trial_Reset_v2.2A may not work with the latest patches/updates.

> Note: When running Avira9_Trial_Reset_v2.2A (if Avira is installed) it will try 
to access internet to check if there's a new version of the Avira9_Trial_Reset. 
The connection is NOT required to reset Avira and can be blocked by using e.g. 
a firewall (set traffic to manually controlled). Another option: Open your firewall
settings and from Program Control block (e.g.) -> C:\.\Avira9_Trial_Reset_v2.2A.exe 
 



Installation notes:

1. Install Avira 9 (select "Test product"). (If already installed skip to step 2.)

2. Disable Avira AntiVir Guard (since Avira may block Avira9_Trial_Reset_v2.2A). 
   Another option is to add Avira9_Trial_Reset_v2.2A to Avira's Exception list. 

3. Run Avira9_Trial_Reset_v2.2A. (Make sure that you're connected to internet.)

4. It's recommended to select [Manual Reset] since [Auto Reset] may fail.

5. Click the [Reset] button.

6. The Avira license wizard will start, then select "Test product", and click next.

7. At the registration window enter any title, first name, surname, email, country.
   Click next to acquire a new 30 days trial license for Avira 9.  

    
No need to uninstall the Trial Reset as there's nothing to uninstall.


* To add a (new) license key (afterwards): Start Avira-> Help-> License Management.

08- Clicking on unknown links can coz malware being silently installed on a pc!

09- Usually (new) torrents with extreme many downloads & seeders in a short time 
    are very suspicious! Torrents with a SKULL-logo are trusted.

10- Some (frustrated) people use multiple accounts and post lots of FAKE comments 
    and/or files trying to spread confusion. Usually they NEVER seriously reply 
    on comments and don't have any torrent, or to look reliable just a few.

11- In general often there are more fake & negative comments than reliable & 
    positive comments.

12- In some countries uploading/downloading copyright-protected material is 
    forbidden, but showing some appreciation to reliable uploaders is not.

13- Posting FAKE comments & uploads on TPB can result in getting banned from TPB!

Nowadays a lot of TPB members abuse their TPB membership by intenionally posting 
fake comments & files. Their meaning is just to spread confusion and try to 
frustrate TPB and it's users. And less downloaders = less seeders = less 
downloadspeed etc etc. 

It's in the benefit of TPB and all reliable users to warn each other about people 
who intenionally keep posting fake comments & files. It's an easy answer against 
those who intenionally keep posting fake comments & files, which is a never 
ending issue. 

When reporting errors or false positives just keep in mind that what goes up for 
one does not always goes up for another. That's for both the working of an app 
and about false positives! Remember: whatever is said, say it constructive! 
Let's just try to help each other and TPB by thinking about what's said & posted.
