In September and October, 2008 the leader of the testing is SecureWeb-Gateway due to its good signature detection combined with heuristics and packers detection. The second and third places belong to AntiVir and F-Secure accordingly. The worst product in September and October was TheHacker.
The best percent of each method in the whole detection rate: signature method - Avast; heuristics - NOD32; suspicious - eSafe, packers / cryptors - SecureWeb-Gateway.
